I had the sudden urge to scream out, “HOLY SHIT!” but I didn’t, even though I knew no one would hear me. Some how, I had dropped out of the time stream.

I turned around, hearing my footsteps echo in the silent room, and nearly fell flat on my ass. I saw myself standing there, silently screaming out in pain, still wearing my clothes, my backpack, my watch, and, I noticed, my glasses. For some strange reason (OK, so everything was strange now, but whatever), my glasses stayed with my physical body and didn’t follow me out of time. And I could see!

I put my hands to my face to make sure of this phenomenon, and I noticed that all of my acne (you know, pimples) was gone! It was like I was cleansed of all my ailments when I was removed from the time stream. Awesome? You bet.

I thought for a second, ‘Am I dead?’ I mean, I wasn’t in my body, I had been cleansed of all my ailments, and I’m dressed in white. Was an angel going to come down and take me to heaven? I know Jews don’t really believe in heaven, per say, but what the heck. Anything could happen now, right?

As I pondered this strange thought, I hear a ripping sound from behind me. I turn around and see the air ripping in two, to show – an elevator door. On a strange scale from one to ten, this hit eleven. It seemed like it was either modern of futuristic; it was hard to tell, because it was solid gold. Also, there was a screen in the upper-right hand corner to show what floor it was on. For some reason it showed a clear, fancy letter M on the screen. Below that was a button marked with an arrow pointing up (Λ). There was a bunch of other buttons as well. I then heard a very elevator-like ‘ding’, and the screen changed to a fancy letter E. The golden doors opened.
Part 3 of "Five Second Story - A Journal From Heaven." Don't worry the parts get longer later on.
